The type of therapy I offer tends to gear more toward, but is certainly not limited to, active-striving populations. Say what?
More simply put, I have noticed that people who are consciously working toward activity-related goals, whether it's being able to walk up stairs comfortably or train for their sixth marathon, benefit from my work the most. If you have any questions about my services below or wonder if we're a good fit, please feel free to contact me and we can talk through your specific needs.
Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a table-based, assisted stretch system that targets not just muscle, but entire fascial systems throughout the body. FST is designed in the highest intelligence and research to effectively mobilize sticky joints and loosen connective tissue, relieving tension and tightness immensely. It's comfortable, painless and incredibly effective
More formally known as Compressive Deep Tissue. As a clothed alternative to a full body massage, compressive deep tissue uses strong pressure on all areas of the body, focusing on the base of the neck and shoulders, arms, hips, glutes and legs. CDT provides a very effective sense of release in the muscles. Compressive Deep Tissue is ideal for clients with greatly developed muscle tone who require a firmer touch.
Traditional Table Massage
Traditional table massage refers most commonly to the classic full body, superficial Swedish massage, most often in combination with some deep tissue as needed. It also encompasses a wide breadth of other modalities. From sports massage to visceral massage to prenatal, these other special modalities are meant for more specific needs.
